4 out of 5 stars A must for Law & Order fans   April 19, 2006

I am a huge fan of the Law & Order TV series and so was extremely excited when the price of the three PC games in the series had dropped below £5 on Amazon - so bought all three at the same time.

For those who have not played a Law & Order game before, it is a point & click adventure with the gameplay in two parts, the first as the detective (investigating the crime, gathering evidence and making the arrest) and the sencond as the assistant DA (compiling the court case and following up interviews with witnesses and bagging any further evidence).

Compared to its two predecessors this game stands up well. There have been improvements since the first game that include the removal of any time constraints, better graphics and a reduction in the amount of "red herring" evidence that you can pick up.

The storyline was engaging enough to keep you interested and the puzzles that you have to solve are hard enough to satisfy your puzzle solving skills without being too boring/difficult that you require a walkthrough.

Overall, if you enjoy crime puzzle games then this game is well worth buying especially as it is a bargain at the moment. (For those thinking of trying any of the previous games - I would avoid the first one: Law & Order-Dead on the Money and try the second one: Law & Order-Double of Nothing).
