 Great Game, Bad CD July 18, 2010

This is a great game, there is no doubt about it. However, the CD itself is exceptionally bad, I'm not sure what is wrong with it but I am having a lot of problems with it been read and recognised by my laptop. The disc feels like it's something made by one of them dodgy black market people you find in the town on a Thursday/Monday morning.
The game itself(when it works) is great, it feels great to play as the Irish and destroy the English domination of the British Isles.
Like I said, great game, but let down by the quality of the CD

An expansion of the excellent Roman Total War (RTW) series. Greater image detail and more advanced weapons add to the playing experience. The greater image detail gobbles up much room on the hard drive and can put a strain on the graphics display. Is this expansion better than RTW? No, but it is a different flavour and still addictive and good fun.

I love Medieval 2 Total war in every single way from its battles and strategy all the way through to its diplomacy and Religion.
Kingdoms is again a brilliant game and it follows on well from the first game. However other than the Crusades campaign the other campaigns are pretty boring. The Americas and Brittiana campaigns are good but are far too slow moving for my liking. I remember seeing a trailer for the Brittania campaign saying how fast moving it was with no rebel regions in it but this is sadly not the case. As for the Teutonic campaign i could never get into it as i did not like any of the factions.
Buy this game yes but don't expect it to be as thrilled by it as Medieval 2.
The Crusades campaign though is briliant and exciting in every measure.

I'm a Total War fan. And this expansion never failed to impress.
The British campaign is awe-inspiring, the level of detail is very impressive and with a decent graphics card, the units really scream out with colour, depth and realism.
Much of my spare time has been whittled away on this game, and I would highly recommend it to any strategy or TW fans!
It's almost like having another four versions of MTW2!
