Great game, great fun and takes as much time as you want to spend on it. Great price (half what Blizzard sell it for). As many have said already be prepared for long download periods for updates, but so worth it once you get in. I recommend using a wired internet connection as it goes about twice as fast. Some people believe that the fun is in levelling but i've got to the level cap with this version and i am still very busy.
Anyone considering buying this game should stop considering and buy it, there's a whole world of fun waiting =)

if u like rpgs like dungeon siege or dragon age then this is a good game too, not as good graphicaly as dragon age, but it is an older game and it has a massive open world. brilliant

This is a good way to get into the game as is a cheap way to get the game, 1 expansion and 2 books. I ordered from Indigostarfish and the box came slightly damaged though which was annoying.

Released November 23, 2004 and now in 2010 it's still one of the most played games. Say goodbye to your spare time as hours will feel like seconds as you explore this HUGE world. With 2 expansions and a third coming, this game just keeps going and going still with the enjoyment from all those years back.
This package itself is a great kick start to all newcomers. It includes 2 very detailed guide books that'll teach you the basics through til an intermediate level. On both the original game and the new features of The Burning Crusade. A must buy to anyone looking to get into this fantastic game.

My son aged 11 basically wanted this game for his PC. I dont know too much about it but he plays on it constantly for hours and I think he can communicate through the game to his friends when they are also playing the same game online.
My opinion this game is a good buy.
