I bought this game for my 6 year old son and he absolutely loves it. His art work has also improved since then and what is best he does not ask me for so many sweets any more.

If you are not sure about buying the full version of spore then i would recommend this. It is just the basic creature creator that features in spore, and therefore it is not really giving you the full experience. However if you are a creative person, or just looking for a good way to spend a few minutes this is the way to go. I guess you will be hooked on this and you will probably buy spore soon after. It follows the same sort of simplicity and ease to use that the rest of the game does so if you are in two minds, try this first and then decide!

Very fun game for the first couple of hours, then after you've made your BAZILLIANTH 'creature' and experimented with all the different childish ones you can make, and all your favourite cartoons bad renditions, you're pretty much done.
The full game is more fun (but not much), but for the price here, its worth a go.
